Gaming Stories

I lived through the second rise and eventual fall of the North American arcades, the rise and fall of PC gaming net cafes, and the heydays of many of the most seminal video games ever released. As important as the games were, the people that played them with me inform how I think about both those classic games, and video games to this day. I am not an expert on anything, but I have both seen and done things that are a little off the beaten path. This is where I write about things that don’t necessarily have to do with competitive gaming or one of the other topics I usually tackle.
